Edmund Phelps Says U.S. Needed `More Coherent’ Stimulus

A 2006 Nobel Prize winner in economics and a Columbia University professor Edmund Phelps was interviewed by Bloomberg’s Francine Lacqua and Erik Schatzker regarding the economic stimulus plans of the U.S. government to help ease the credit crisis.

Phelps also talks about the moves to eradicate toxic assets from the balance sheets of banks and the future of U.S. housing.
